4. Class meeting time and place: MWRF 12:00-12:50am (Neckers 156).
5. Prerequisites: Math 150 or equivalent, with a grade C or
better PLUS satisfactory placement score or permission of the math
department. During
the first week of class, you will be required to take a readiness quiz.
This
quiz is designed to test whether you have mastered the prerequisites
for
this class. Calculators are not allowed in this quiz.
6. Assessment: Three hourly exams, quizzes plus common final.
7. Quizzes: Unannounced, approx. one quiz a week.

9. Homework: There will be regular assignments in class. Homework is an essential part of the learning process. You must take the home work assignments very seriously.
10. Calculators in Final Exam: The mathematics
department permits the use of scientific calculators on the final exam.
However, calculators or computers with graphic, word-processing,
symbolic manipulation or programming capabilities will not be allowed.
Cell phones are not allowed during the final exam.
11. Incompletes: According to department policy,
``Incomplete" grade
will not be assigned unless the student is passing and there
is a
medical excuse.
