Homework: 40%
Mid-term exam: 30%
Final: 30%
8. Homework: There will be regular assignments in class. You are responsible for all assigned questions. Homework is an essential part of the learning process. The homework grade will be determined by the method of approach as well as clear and rigorous mathematical expression. Homework must be turned in at the assigned time. Late homework will not be accepted, unless there is a medical excuse.
9. Attendance of Colloquia and Seminars: You are expected to
attend lectures and seminars of a general nature. These are usually
announced
in the department bulletin board.
